“Community Street”, was a new initiative of the Kilmore Agricultural and Pastoral Society for last years (2011) year’s Kilmore Show.
Community Street saw 21 local community groups represented. It was a great addition to our show and something that the Show Committee is keen to continue.
Feedback forms (link below) and Expresssions of Interest for the 2012 show will be sent by March to all groups that were involved last year. Applications for new groups will be published and promoted in June/July 2012. involved.

have made over the past year. It was also an opportunity to promote local community group, hopefully attracting new members.
Groups were encouraged to use the show as an opportunity to raise much needed funds by selling goods or by having a raffle – with many groups haveing christmas stocking raffles.

- Seymour Youth and Fitness Club, who will be running hourly activites (5 min. ea)
- Edgars Mission Kilmore – including performing pigs!
- Kilmore Broadford Netball Association – including a netball shooting competition

- Waterwatch – including an interactive water bugs display from the Kilmore Creek
- Environmental Programs Unit of Mitchell Shire Council – including the popular free native plants

- Kilmore T.O.W.N. Club
- Transition Town Innitiative - Mitchell
- Kilmore Historical Society
- Kilmore Little Athletics Club
- Kilmore Integrity Kept Inc.
- The Toy Library of Kilmore Inc.

- OKR FM – Mitchell Community Radio – open studio and roving reporters.

All local community groups are more than welcome to attend.
